• Call to Order at 10:00 am.
• Approval of the minutes of the April 21 – 27, 2026 meeting.
• Discussion of the conduct of the April 21, 2026 Special Election
o Review Election Day events
o Enter a Closed Meeting in accordance with Section 2.2-3711 of the Code of Virginia
to discuss the performance of Officers of Election serving for the April 21st election
o Out of Closed Meeting
o Certification of the Closed Meeting: Whereas Section 2.2-3711 of the Code of
Virginia requires a certification by the Board that such Closed Meeting was
conducted in conformity with Virginia law. BE IT RESOLVED, That the Electoral
Board of Montgomery County Virginia hereby certifies that to the best of each
member’s knowledge (i) only public business lawfully exempted from open meeting
requirements by Virginia law were discussed in the closed meeting to which this
certification applies, and (ii) only such public business matters as were identified in
the motion conveying the closed meeting were heard, discussed, or considered by the
Board.
• Discussion and approval of Voting System Security Plan
o Enter a Closed Meeting in accordance with Section 2.2-3711 of the Code of Virginia
to for the purpose of updating and approving the 2026 Voting Systems Security Plan.

• Discuss a visit to the new Riner Fire Department to evaluate it as a possible polling place
